About

I'm Charlotte Annice — I diagnose sugar addiction.

I’m a certified and licensed SUGAR® Diagnostic practitioner, integrative counsellor in training, and someone who has been through food addiction recovery myself.

I work at the intersection of metabolic science, nervous system regulation, and addiction recovery. That combination is unusual. Most approaches to disordered eating focus on behaviour or psychology alone. What they miss is the biology underneath — the way sugar and ultra-processed foods disregulate energy metabolism, drive compulsive patterns, and make willpower irrelevant.

I trained under Bitten Jonsson RN, one of the world's leading specialists in sugar addiction, and I use the SUGAR® Diagnostic Instrument to assess what's actually happening for each person — biochemically, neurologically, and behaviourally.

I hold a CPCAB Level 3 counselling qualification and am completing a CPCAB Level 4 counselling qualification and am training in HMA® Holistic Medicine for Addiction. I'm also a qualified ADHD coach trained with ADDCA — a background that shapes how I work with people whose neurodivergent profiles intersect with compulsive eating patterns, which is more common than most practitioners recognise.

My own recovery is the proof of concept for everything I do. I know what it is to be completely controlled by food, and I know what it takes to get free. That experience shapes how I work — with honesty, without shame, and with a framework that actually fits the biology.

I work with individuals ready to understand what's driving their relationship with food, and with GPs, counsellors, and other practitioners who want a metabolic lens they can apply in their own work.
