If you've tried to cut back, moderate, or quit — and kept coming back — there's a reason.

It's not willpower. It's biology. I offer two ways to work together — but first let’s see:

Is SUGAR® right for me? (free)

Before booking a consultation, please complete our brief UNCOPE screener. This 5-minute, clinically recognised tool helps us determine if your relationship with sugar meets the clinical criteria for addiction.

Why do this? To ensure we don't waste your time or money on a process that isn't suitable.

How is sugar
affecting your life?

6 honest questions. Takes under 2 minutes.

Question 1 of 6

Have you ever tried to cut back on sugar or processed carbs, but found you couldn't stick to it?

The SUGAR® diagnostic assessment — £675

This is where we find out exactly what's happening for you.

Over three meetings I use the SUGAR® Diagnostic Instrument — the only clinical tool in the world specifically developed for sugar and carbohydrate addiction — to build a complete picture of your relationship with food. You'll leave with a personalised report, a visual map of how your patterns have developed over time, and a clear set of recommendations built around your life.

£675 covers all three meetings, the questionnaire, all preparation work, and your individual results and personalised recommendations report. No hidden costs.

  • We meet to talk through the process, what to expect, and whether it feels right for you. There's no obligation to continue after this first meeting. You'll leave with a short questionnaire to complete before we meet again.
If at this point you decide the SUGAR® diagnostic is not for you, you will be able to get a refund (minus £150) for the initial call and costs involved.

  • We work through your full history with sugar, food, and related patterns using the SUGAR® Diagnostic Instrument. Most people find this process clarifying in itself — there's something powerful about having your story laid out clearly and without judgement.

  • I prepare your personalised report between sessions, including your addiction development curve — a visual map of how your relationship with food has developed over time. We go through the findings together and I walk you through a specific set of recommendations built around you.

12-week coaching programme — £595 (full)

This is where the work begins.

For clients who have completed the SUGAR® Diagnostic Assessment and want structured support putting their recommendations into practice. We meet every two weeks for six 45-minute sessions, working through your personalised plan at a pace that fits your life.

Every session is built around your specific results — not a generic programme, but support designed around your biology, your patterns, and your goals.

For professionals

If you work with clients whose relationship with sugar or ultra-processed foods is affecting their health or recovery, the SUGAR® Diagnostic Assessment offers a rigorous, evidence-informed framework to refer into.

The SUGAR® tool is based on ICD-11 and DSM-5 addiction criteria and makes an important clinical distinction between harmful use and pathological use — two conditions with very different treatment protocols. It also screens for Addiction Interaction Disorder, recognising that food addiction rarely exists in isolation.

I welcome referrals from GPs, counsellors, addiction workers, and dietitians. I'm happy to liaise with referring practitioners and can provide a summary report with client consent.

Common questions

  • A: No. You can self-refer directly. If you've been referred by a GP or practitioner, I'm happy to liaise with them.

  • A: Yes. All sessions are conducted via video call — you can work with me from anywhere.

  • A: That's usually exactly who this is for. The assessment isn't another programme to try — it's a way of understanding why the other things haven't worked, and what specifically needs to change for you.

  • A: No. The assessment stands alone and the recommendations are yours to keep. The coaching programme is there if you want structured support implementing them.

  • A: Yes — this is one of the most common reasons people come to me. Relapse often has a metabolic component that isn't being addressed. The assessment is designed to identify exactly that.
